Fees

Our commitment to you:

Treasure cove has a commitment to ensuring our fees are as affordable as possible and that all families have access to Centrelink subsidies that are available to reduce fees (Child Care benefit and Childcare rebate.)

As these differ for each family, your fees will be determined according to each individual circumstance.

Enrolment Fee:

Our enrollment fee is $100 per child.

Bond:

We charge a bond if your starting date is more than two weeks after you enrol with us. If you are charged a bond, it will normally be refunded to you when your child starts in the form of a fee payment to your account.

Fees rise policy:

In general we aim to set our yearly fee in January and then not change them for the full year, giving parents the benefit of reduced fees from July when Child Care benefit is increased in line with the C.P.I. If we have to increase our fees during the year for any reason, we have a 1st child only impact policy. This policy means that if there are 2 or more children from the same family at Treasure Cove, we limit any mid year fee increases to only one of these children, the rest of the children from each family remain on their January fees for the whole year – guaranteed.

Why are the fees higher for 2’s and babies?

The higher daily costs for under 2’s and 2-3’s groups reflect the increased staffing required in these rooms as well as the provision of nappies, etc. Children two and over but under three require a staff/child ration of 1:8 and Children under two (classified as babies) require a Staff/Child ratio 1:4.

Fees are age grouped not class grouped:

If your child is moved up a class before their birthday and the higher class is at a cheaper fee rate, your fees will remain at the rate applicable to your child’s age till the birth date as our mandated staffing ratios are age, not class based (If we move under 2’s to the starfish room, for example, we must provide percentage based staffing at the 1:5 Tadpole ratio till children have reached their second birthday).
